UCP blocks NDP bill to prevent Rocky Mountains coal mining
Alberta’s UCP government has refused to move ahead with an Opposition bill, the Eastern Slopes Protection Act, that would place legally enforceable restrictions on coal mining in the Rocky Mountains.
